Galway City Gallery this week, getting ready for the Fringe |
The Galway Fringe Festival kicks
off this weekend and needs an army of volunteers to help it
get through the next two weeks!
There will be
various roles at our multiple venues throughout the city, including Busker
Browne's, Seven, Coyote's, The Dew Drop Inn, Áras na Gael, De Burgos, The
Mechanics Institute, Kennedy's, The Crane Bar and many more!
There is an
array of music, comedy and theatre shows lined up and anyone who volunteers at an event gets to see the show for free!
The Fringe box office is in the newly renovated Galway City Gallery, Victoria Place (a few doors up from the Victoria Hotel which is located here ).It'll be fun, you'll make new friends and it'll look geat on your CV. So if you are available please call in and say hello.

One of the Fringe Festival
events is my CELTIC TALES show in The Crane Bar on 23rd July. For
this show I will be telling Tales of Terror from Scotland and Ireland. Stories
include:
The
Last Supper, an extremely dark tale of lust and jealousy among
the Edinburgh writing scene;
Bright
Lights, Little Fishes a chilling account of goat’s cheese-making and
murder in counties Clare and Galway.
The show kicks off at 8pm.
Price 10 euro / 8 euro concession.
