Wingin' it - new improv comedy and theatre in Galway

Wingin' It is an exciting brand new monthly night in Galway showcasing Improvised Comedy and Theatre.  The shows are hosted by members of The Sky Babies - an acclaimed Galway Improv Troupe.  Improv theatre and comedy is a dynamic art form where the performers create all the content on the spot. Often fuelled by audience ideas – no two shows are ever the same! 

Wingin’ It continues its monthly residency on Tuesday 11th^h of August 2015 in The Loft @ Seven Bridge St.  The night is held on the second Tuesday of each month and features guest performers from Galway, Ireland, and indeed the rest of the world!  For August, the ensemble will be joined by Portland Oregon Improviser Ali Crocker, from the Brody Theatre. Wingin' It aims to provide a top class night of entertainment, while introducing audiences to a wider variety of improvised theatre and comedy styles. Each month will feature some local performers as well as guest improvisers and brand new formats. Not to be missed! 

The Sky Babies have been wowing the Improv scene for the past three years,

performing across Ireland in venues and festivals such as Electric Picnic, Ranelagh Arts, Town Hall Theatre, Galway Fringe Festival and Improv Fest Ireland. Their long form show 'Suitcase' was the opening show at the Galway Theatre Festival 2015 and was lauded by audiences across the board.  The core members of The Sky Babies are Zita McGowan, Órla Mc Govern, Darragh O'Brien & Niceol Blue, and most recently have been joined by Lali Morris, former Director of Baboró Theatre Festival.  The Sky Babies also work regularly with a number of Associate Artists from around Ireland.
