Walk & Talk for World Mental Health Day

NUI Galway's Student Services Health Promotion Service, in conjunction with Jigsaw Galway*, is holding an on-campus 'Walk & Talk' event from 12:30 - 2pm on Weds 10th Oct to coincide with World Mental Health Day.

Registration will take place in the foyer of the Orbsen building, from 12:30pm, and the walk to Dangan and back will start at 1pm. Goodie bags available for the first 30 people who register on the day. Live entertainment will be provided by some of our very own NUIG societies

How can you support the event? It's easy, just show up on the day and join us for the walk. You can donate whatever you can - the important thing is that we 'walk and talk' to show solidarity for young people's mental health.

Walking and talking also helps people to connect, which is good for all of us. And don't worry if it's raining, we'll all happy to share our umbrellas!

For those who like a challenge, see how much money you can raise for Jigsaw Galway by getting people to sponsor you to do the walk. Sponsorship cards are available from Ciara in the Wellness Centre
Wellness Centre at the back of The Hub / An Baile Beag  in Áras na Mac Léinn)
